About us

Somebody had to start it.

Run by women who do this around full-time jobs. Meet the people behind it, and the community that shows up.

How this started

A group chat that got out of hand

In 2024 a few women in the Power Platform community got tired of waiting for someone to build what they needed. So they built it.

It began as mentoring for a handful of people. Now it is a community of about six thousand across Power Platform and AI tools, with cohorts, monthly skilling sessions and a presence at the big conferences. In 2026 it became part of the Women’s Innovation Network, a non-profit built to outlast any one platform.

Every session, pairing and Power Hour is volunteer work, done around full-time jobs.

Leadership

Meet the troublemakers

A working committee, not a letterhead. Everyone here has a real job in the program, done around a full-time one.

Danielle Moon

Founder

Danielle founded Women in Power in 2024, then built the Women’s Innovation Network behind it so the support would outlast any one platform. What began as a group chat is now six thousand women, with mentoring cohorts, monthly skilling and a Women in Power presence at the conferences this industry actually shows up to. She sets the direction, brings in the sponsors and holds the door open for the next woman who thinks she is the only one in the room.

Sravani Seethi

Executive Director

Sravani partners with Danielle to bring the Women in Power vision to life, shaping ideas into programs with a clear plan, owners and timeline across every pillar. She started the mentoring program, which Shriya and Drew now lead. By day she is a PM in the CAT organization at Microsoft, and she built this site.

Geetha Sivasailam

Chief Power Officer

Geetha leads Skilling, partnering with Danielle to turn Women in Power’s skilling vision into a program members can count on for personal, professional and career growth. She owns the framework, themes and events, redefining skilling around power skills. She also helps shape community-wide decisions and future growth, and supports new voices in the community. By day, she is an Associate Director in Protiviti’s Microsoft Consulting practice and a Microsoft MVP.

Mentoring committee

The cohorts, the pairings and the alumni community.

Shriya Malhotra

Power Pairs Lead

Shriya runs Power Pairs, the 1:1 track: matching, operations, mentor recruitment and participant communications. She also co-leads Skilling.

Drew Tattam

Circuits Mentoring Lead

Drew leads the Early Career pillar and runs Circuits: the group mentoring track, its Circuit Leads, and the path from a Circuit into Power Pairs.

Jessica Edwards, Samantha Inquieti and Asad Fathima

The wider mentoring committee

The committee behind the cohorts: the mentoring framework, participant communications, and the alumni community that carries on afterwards. They keep every cohort running the same way for everyone, whichever track you are in, and make sure the volunteers who run it are thanked.

Skilling committee

The monthly sessions, the speaker pipeline and where they reach.

Suparna Banerjee

Skilling Sessions Lead

Suparna runs the skilling sessions with Geetha: topics, speakers, scheduling and prep. She is an active Power Platform community speaker and an AI wizard.

Ragavendar Swaminatha Subramanian

Speakers & Promotion Lead

Ragavendar runs speaker outreach, promotional material, scheduling and session prep. He is a three-time Power Platform Super User.

Kimberly Tiong and Veronica Fair

The wider skilling committee

The committee behind the Skilling Series: finding speakers, prepping each session and getting it in front of the people who need it.

Growth & outreach

Delia’s committee: getting Women in Power to women who have not found it yet.

Delia Zuniga

Chief Storyteller

Delia leads community marketing, volunteer recruitment and the events calendar, including the outreach that fills every cohort.

Krystal Velez

Growth & outreach committee

Hanh Nguyen

APAC expansion

Hanh is exploring how to grow Women in Power across APAC: time zones, partners and local communities.

This is not everyone

Beyond the committee are dozens of session hosts, room hosts, regional organizers and events crew. We add each one once she confirms how she would like to be listed.

The community

Everyone who has taken part

Mentors and mentees from every cohort. The program is these people; the committee just books the rooms.

We are still compiling this list, with permission. Want to be listed? Say so on your next feedback form.

Nobody is listed without agreeing to it. If your name is here and you would rather it were not, tell any committee member and it comes off the same day.

    Join a cohort

As a mentee or a mentor. Registration opens ahead of each one and is announced on LinkedIn.

    How mentoring works →

    Host a session

The Skilling Series always needs speakers. If you can teach something in 45 minutes, that is enough.

    Read the speaker guide →

    Volunteer on a committee

Mentoring, skilling, events, regional outreach. Most people start by turning up to something and offering.
