Women in Power

When women innovate, the future follows.

The largest grassroots community of women working with Microsoft Power Platform and AI tools, Copilot and beyond. We mentor, we teach, and we get each other into the room.

Who we are

A community, not a committee

Women in Power started in 2024 with a handful of women tired of being the only one in the room.

Today we are about six thousand strong, helping women grow, learn and connect through mentoring, skilling and networking.

What we do

Three pillars

Mentoring

AMPLIFY: twelve weeks, a weekly Power Hour, and Circuits (group) or Power Pairs (1:1). Running now.

How mentoring works →

Skilling Series

Short, practical sessions on Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, Copilot and other AI tools, plus a monthly Power Skills session. All levels welcome.

What’s on in the Skilling Series →

Networking

Introductions, coffee chats and showing up together at Community Summit, PPCC, Ignite and ESPC, so nobody walks in alone.

What we believe

More women in the room

Nobody grows in a vacuum

Careers move through people. We introduce women to people who can open doors, and help them ask.

Everyone gets to speak

In most rooms a few voices dominate. In ours, everyone speaks in front of the group at least once.

Skills, not just encouragement

Confidence follows competence, so we teach real technical skills too. “Believe in yourself” is not a certification path.

Built by volunteers

Every mentor, host and organizer volunteers around a full-time job, which is why we take your time, and theirs, seriously.

Part of something bigger

Women’s Innovation Network

Women's Innovation Network (WIN)

Women in Power is a program of the Women’s Innovation Network (WIN), a non-profit getting more women to conferences, into workshops and through certifications.

We started with Power Platform. Now it’s Power Platform and AI tools, and WIN is how we keep going.
